Ana Maria Botelho Maia Gonçalves

The best way to summarize Ana’s character is to say she is
passionate, intuitive, generous and
obstinate.
Ana was born in Portugal and grew up in Porto. In 1984, she went to live in France with only a piano teacher degree. Within a few years, she became
Customer Service Director of Microsoft France, with a division of more than 100 people. In 1994, she participated in the worldwide launch of the Critical Support Service Centre of Microsoft and became its
director for Europe. She then decided to go back to her mother country with her daughter and worked there as
Customer Service Director. In 2000, she decided to change her life: she went back to university and got a
Master of Law. She had a son with the man of her life, discovered mediation, fell in love with the subject, contaminated her
husband, and launched the idea of creating Convirgente.
Ana is an

coach.
She’s fluent in French, English and Portuguese and has advanced notions of Spanish.

François Bogacz

François has an original personality, mixing
curiosity, creativity and
rationality.
Trained as an engineer, he has worked for 20 years in marketing and business development, mainly for multinational companies such as Hitachi, Philips and Microsoft. He was in 1995 in charge of the launching of Windows 95, one of the most strategic product launches of the software giant. He was immediately after appointed GM of the
Microsoft Internet portal activity in France, reporting directly to the HQ in Redmond. In 1998, he created one of the leading French Web agencies and raised 3M€ of funds from two investment banks,
ABN-AMRO and La
Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rotschild. In 2002, he moved to Lisbon, Portugal, to live with
his wife and to write novels.
Used to – but not really satisfied with – highly competitive workplaces, François always looked for another way to collaborate. He’s convinced that the implementation of conflict management strategies is a mandatory step towards the development of positive organizations.
He’s an
ADRg and IMI accredited mediator and Harvard Program on Negotiation graduate.
He’s fluent in French, English and Portuguese.
